If your door glass is broken, don't use the window switch. Running the motor with broken glass can damage the window regulator — the part that carries the glass up and down.

What we do

We take off the door panel, vacuum out the broken glass with a 16-gallon shop vac, clean up your seats and floor, and fit the new glass. Most of the hour goes into the clean-up.

Telling us which glass you need

Positions are as you sit in the vehicle: front left is the driver's door, rear right is behind the front passenger. Most door glass is tempered and breaks into pea-size pieces; if yours cracked but stayed together, it's laminated (stamped "Laminated AS1"). Glass behind the driver can be green tint or dark privacy tint — lay a broken piece on white paper to check.
